The Chakras
From the base of the spine to the tip of the head there are found 7 major and 3 minor energy centres or Chakras. Our emotions, physical bodies and thoughts all interact with each other through these chakras. Each chakra relates to a colour of the rainbow and to an area of human life and being. When the Chakras are all balanced and in harmony, we are holistically healthy and full of vitality.
MAJOR CHAKRAS
Base Chakra
Called the Muladhara
Meaning = The foundation
Associated colour = RED
Location = Base of the Spine.
Relates to: Grounding, Survival, Instinct.

Essential Oils to use: Patchouli, Vetiver, Myrrh, Benzoin, Violet Leaf

Sacral Chakra

Location = Just below the navel
Relates to: Sexuality and Creativity.

Also called the Manipura Chakra

Location = Below the chest
Relates to: Personal power, Individual Will, Divine Will.
